Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1300m/4265ft)

Overnight at 3 Star Hotel
Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport at any time, you will be greeted by a Himalaya Land Treks’ representative. Next, you will be transferred to the hotel where you will stay overnight.

The Kathmandu city sightseeing includes visiting the four major UNESCO World Heritage Sites- Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. The temple of Pashupatinath is located by the banks of the holy Bagmati River and is one of the biggest Hindu temples. The Boudhanath Stupa is one of the largest Buddhist shrines in all of Nepal. The Swayambhunath Temple is a revered site to both the Hindu and the Buddhist people of Nepal. Lastly, the Kathmandu Durbar square is a series of old and ancient monuments, temples, palaces and statues that are the remnant of the medieval Nepal.

Today, you will visit the Bhaktapur Durbar square of the Bhaktapur city, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Like the Durbar Square of Kathmandu, the Bhaktapur Durbar square is also has a series of courtyards with old palaces and temples. It is a great way to take in the unique architectural beauty of the old buildings. After exploring the city a bit, where you can buy handicrafts and look at the city's pottery scene, you will then drive to Nagarkot- a famous hill station situated near Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Nagarkot.

You will wake up early in the morning to witness the gorgeous sunrise view from Nagarkot. The sun rises amidst the mountain peaks and the phenomenon is simply breath-taking. You can see mountain ranges like Everest, Ganesh, Langtang, and Jugal from the hill station. Then, after breakfast, you will have a drive to Chitwan National Park, which takes about 5 to 6 hours. After arriving at the park, you will be taken to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Today, you will spend the day enjoying the many features of the Chitwan National Park. The day's schedule includes a jungle safari on the back of an elephant, visiting the ethnic Tharu village, enjoying a boat ride on the Rapti River and visiting the Elephant Breeding Center. You can head to the local Tharu village and observe the traditional Tharu culture dance. Overnight stay at the hotel.

From Chitwan, you will visit Lumbini; the drive to Lumbini takes about 4 to 5 hours. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Buddha, and here, you can visit the holy Mayadevi Temple and also explore the unearthed palace remains of Lord Buddha's childhood. Additionally, Lumbini also has many monasteries and shrines that are each built in different architectural styles. After exploring Lumbini, you will then be taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

From Lumbini, you will take a beautiful drive to Pokhara city. The drive is pleasant and presents many waterfalls, hillocks of woodlands, rivers, and farmlands. Pokhara is a tourist hub of Nepal and is beautifully located near the Annapurna Himalayas, as well as being snugly situated beside the Phewa Lake. After arriving in Pokhara, you will be taken to your Hotel. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Pokhara.

Pokhara city has many sites and locations to explore. You will be roaming around the city visiting its many wonderful features, like the Mahendra cave, Devi's fall, the World Peace Pagoda, the Bindhyabasini Temple, the International Mountain Museum and others. In the evening, you can also enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the pristine Phewa Lake in the shadows of the Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m). As the tour comes to an end, Himalaya Land Treks will host a farewell dinner to all the participants. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Pokhara.

Today, you will bid farewell to the Annapurna Mountains and drive back to Kathmandu, which takes about 6 hours.
